Beth J. Beeman, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Beth Beeman has been practicing Audiology since 1999 after receiving her Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Iowa. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in both Communications Disorders and Psychology at the University of South Dakota. Most recently, she received the Doctoral of Audiology (Au.D) degree in 2008 from Arizona School of Health Sciences, an affiliate of A.T. Still University. She has worked in Iowa City, Iowa, Mankato, Minnesota, and Sioux Center, Iowa prior to moving to Yankton, South Dakota in 2004.
Beth has worked in a variety of audiological settings, gaining experience in hearing conservation, newborn hearing screening and follow-up hearing aid and assistive listening device selection/fitting and rehabilitation, Education Audiology, and vestibular system assessment and management.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and member of the South Dakota Speech Language Hearing Association, and the South Dakota Hearing Aid Dispenser’s Association. She is licensed to practice in South Dakota and Nebraska.
Her current interests include working with children and adults in the areas of hearing loss assessment and management, hearing aid selection, fitting, and rehabilitation, as well as vestibular disorders assessment and management.
